The Life Science Research & Engineering Building houses the instructional and research laboratories plus support space to accommodate the academic needs of the Department of Life Sciences and it’s growing graduate programs. The building houses six instructional laboratories for Intro to Biology, Microbiology & Anatomy-Physiology Instruction, 34 research labs plus support space for Environmental Ecology, Biomedical, Marine Genomics, Fisheries/Mariculture & Micro-organisms and faculty & staff offices as well as graduate student workspaces
