University of Houston Innovation Hub

The University of Houston Innovation Hub is an $82 million, 78,000-square-foot facility replacing the 1941 Technology Annex near the M.D. Anderson Library.  Designed to consolidate entrepreneurship, energy transition research, and advanced science, the hub is scheduled for completion in early 2028. The building will house several key programs, including the Wolff Center for Entrepreneurship, the Energy Transition Institute, a multi-disciplinary makerspace open to the campus community, and laboratories for the Presidential Frontier Faculty program.  Designed by Page and managed by Vaughn Construction, the facility aims to foster cross-disciplinary collaboration between students, faculty, and industry leaders.
