Texas A&M Instructional Laboratory and Innovative Learing Building

The Texas A&M University Instructional Laboratory & Innovative Learning Building (ILSQ) project involved constructing a new academic facility to support interdisciplinary education, collaborative learning, and hands-on instruction. five-story building includes instructional laboratories, classrooms, maker spaces, design studios, student collaboration areas, and faculty support spaces serving multiple academic programs. The facility was designed to create flexible, technology-focused learning environments that encourage innovation and interaction between science, engineering, art, and design disciplines. The project also incorporated modern building systems, sustainable design elements, and energy-efficient infrastructure to improve long-term performance and occupant comfort. As a new ground-up higher education facility, the project required detailed coordination between design, construction, and university stakeholders while supporting ongoing campus growth and operations.
